Good news for those of you wanting Steam to expand its controller options for the PS4’s DualShock 4 controller.
During Valve’s Steam Dev Days developer conference, Valve’s Jeff Bellinghausen let everyone know that there would be an upcoming Steam update that will provide users with more DualShock 4 controller options.
As of right now, player options with the DualShock 4 controller are non-existent when it comes to the touchpad and gyro features. So once the update hits, players will be able to adjust DualShock 4 options that will create a variety of new features in Steam games.
PS4 gamers will already be familiar with the benefits that the touchpad and gyro functions bring on the PlayStation 4. And being able to bring that functionality into Steam games will be very much welcomed.
Stay tuned for more information on when the Steam update will be scheduled to release.
