Bungie, best known as the creators of the iconic Halo series, have been hard at work on their second major title since parting ways with Microsoft. The first was Destiny, an MMO-like FPS title that was met with a mostly positive critical reception when it released in 2014.
The anticipated sequel, Destiny 2, has been confirmed by Activision to be a 2017 title. While no official launch date has been announced yet, a poster now floating around the web has revealed that the big day will be September 8th.
The poster, which was leaked by GameStop Italy, also reveals plans for a beta prior to launch. Rumors suggest that PlayStation 4 gamers will receive exclusive early access to this beta sometime this Summer.
