You know you’ve created a fun adventure when your MMORPG launched more than 16 years ago and still has more than 250 million player accounts. Now, Jagex wants to give more gamers a chance to team up with other players and explore the realm of Gielinor on mobile devices. But the bigger news is that both RuneScape and Old School RuneScape will be launching on mobile and tablet devices with PC cross-platform support.
This means players can switch between their computer or smartphone without missing a beat. Whenever you hop from one device to the other, you’ll be exactly where you left off and can still interact with players on every platform.
Jagex’s plan is to release Old School RuneScape on mobile this coming winter. RuneScape will have to wait until 2018. For more info and images, check out the official website here.
