Capcom has announced that Resident Evil: Revelations will be available for Playstation 4 and Xbox One this Fall 2017. The acclaimed survival horror title will release in North America and Europe in both physical and digital versions.
Revelations originally released on the Nintendo 3DS back in 2012— the same year as Resident Evil 6. But while the main series entry received a mixed reception from fans and reviewers, Revelations was praised for capturing the feel of the original Resident Evil titles. The portable title earned a number of accolades that include Pocket Gamer’s “Best Action/Arcade Game” and IGN’s “Best 3DS/DS Graphics.”

Its success led Capcom to re-release the game on Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, and PlayStation 3 a year later. A sequel titled Resident Evil: Revelations 2 was released in episodic format starting February 2015 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC. The first episode, “Penal Colony”, is currently available as a free download on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
Did Resident Evil 7 leave you hungry for more survival horror action but you can’t wait until this fall? If so, consider checking out Resident Evil HD and Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster. The two are considered some of the best games of the franchise and are available on almost every major video gaming platform. A compilation of both games are available as “Resident Evil Origins Collection” for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
