One of the best ideas Phil Spencer and the Xbox team have had this console generation is the popular backwards compatibility program. While Sony continues offering PlayStation 4 owners a less impressive option in the form of PlayStation Now, those with an Xbox One can play hundreds of Xbox 360 titles.
The secret to the program’s success has been offering a steady stream of great 360 titles, including setting up polls where fans can say which ones they want on the list next. But there has been some concern as to whether the next console, Project Scorpio, would also be able to play Xbox 360 games.

The answer is an exciting yes. Via Twitter, Microsoft executive Mike Ybarra has made clear that every 360 game you can play on your Xbox One and Xbox One S will also be playable on Project Scorpio.
This is also great news considering that Spencer has voiced his desire to have every Xbox 360 title eventually added to the backwards compatibility list. The fact that original Xbox games might also start being included is only icing on the cake.
