When No Man’s Sky released almost exactly a year ago, fans quickly discovered that it wasn’t the experience they were promised. To their credit, Hello Games has been busy listening to feedback when considering what to focus on with each update. The third major update, Atlas Rises, released today and adds huge changes to the space exploration title.
New content includes 30 hours of story combined with a revamped quest system. Players can now also edit terrain, salvage crashed freighters, and fly close to planets without automatically being ejected. The implementation of multiplayer features that are sure to be fleshed out in a future update is also there.
You’ll have to read the full patch notes here to get all the Atlas Rises details. No Man’s Sky is available on PC and PlayStation 4.
