A huge surprise in the form of a new No More Heroes title was unveiled during Nintendo’s Nindies Summer Showcase presentation. With Suda51 and his Grasshopper Manufacture studio once again at the helm, Travis Strikes Again is set to launch in 2018 as a Switch exclusive.
Travis Strikes Again will take place seven years after the first game in the series and involve a phantom game console that sucks in Travis Touchdown. Inside, he must explore areas and face enemies from various other actual indie games. This includes Hotline Miami, which you can see Travis playing in the trailer below.
It’s been almost a decade since the original No More Heroes impressed Wii gamers with its stylish visuals and brutal combat. Although Desperate Struggle arrived only two years later, the franchise has remained dormant since 2010, skipping the Wii U entirely.
