Just like with the original Splatoon on the Wii U, Nintendo is doing a fantastic job of releasing a steady stream of free new content for the Switch sequel. An August 23 update will introduce a new map called Manta Maria that lets players face off on a large sailboat in both Turf Wars and Ranked Battles.
Players are also getting a Salmon Run stage called Lost Outpost, which is set in an abandoned shanty town. Last but not least, a special weapon called the Bubble Blower arrives September 1st. It launches up to three large bubbles that explode to damage opponents and serve to protect your team from enemy fire.

As for Arms, the version 3.0 update coming soon will introduce Lola Pop to the cast of playable characters. The clown fighter wields candy-like arms, can inflate her body for defensive purposes, and comes with her own candy-themed stage. Here’s the trailer for Lola Pop
