The Evil Within is considered one of the best survival horror games of this generation. It was helmed by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and received excellent reviews praising its frightening atmosphere and solid gameplay. At E3, fans were in for a treat as Bethesda Softworks showed off a reveal trailer for a sequel.
Today, another new trailer has arrived that gives us more details on the story, which will once again feature Sebastian Castellanos. Years after the the events of the original game, Sebastian must return to the STEM world to rescue his daughter Lilly before she becomes one of the many nightmarish beings inside. Check it out:
Bethesda has also offered details on The Last Chance Pack, which you get when you pre-order The Evil Within 2. The pack includes an exclusive weapon called The Burst Handgun along with a batch of crafting and medical supplies so you can stay healthy, upgrade weapons, and craft equipment right from the start.
The Evil Within 2 releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 13th, 2017. The official Xbox website suggests that it will be one of the first titles to receive enhanced visuals and performance when played on the upcoming Xbox One X.
