If you’ve been keeping up with all the Star Wars Battlefront II news, you already know that it’s set to be much bigger than its predecessor. EA clearly listened to fans who thought the 2015 title was good but lacked the depth and substance they were expecting. The latest reveal is Arcade mode, which allows you to sharpen your skills either alone or with a friend.
Arcade mode is an offline mode where you can select different loadouts and battle configurations to use against A.I. enemies. You’ll also have computer-controlled allies with you and can play local split-screen multiplayer by having a friend join you in battle. Rewards you unlock in Arcade mode can also be used in other areas of the game.
Star Wars Battlefront II arrives November 17th. An open beta starts October 6th (Oct. 4th if you pre-order) and will feature a number of modes, including Arcade mode. For more details, including how to play as Darth Maul in the beta, check out this blog post.
