It’s been two years since Rocket League quickly convinced everyone that cars and soccer is a thrilling combination. Although they’ve made it clear they’re still not ready to create a sequel, it’s refreshing to see a developer continue providing updates. To celebrate their success, Psyonix’s latest update comes with more awesome content that’s sure to please fans still putting the pedal to the medal.
The biggest addition is a brand new arena called ‘Champions Field’. Players can also check out new customization options for Trails, Engine, Sounds, and Goal Explosions along with new Trophies and Achievements to unlock. Also included is the new Rocket League Radio featuring Monstercat and 18 new songs, two new import cars, a new Crate, Season 4 rewards, and more
Today also marks the beginning of Competitive Season 5. Rocket League is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC/macOS, and Nintendo Switch.
