Today, the head honcho at Sledgehammer Games teased what could be unannounced content for their upcoming title, Call of Duty: WWII. The tweet, which you can see below, is very likely referring to that one mode you know and love.

Glen Schofield’ tweet reads “They’re almost here….” and then shows an image of some kind of zombie-like creature. This is most likely a tease for the latest iteration of the popular zombies mode seen in many Call of Duty titles. Considering a lot of players are starting to find the mode stale and in need of a shake up, here’s hoping Sledgehammer does something to make it feel fresh and new again.
Call of Duty: WWII launches November 3rd, 2017 as the 14th installment in the series. It will also be the first Call of Duty title since 2008’s Call of Duty: World at War to be set during World War II.
