Last year, Electronic Arts pulled a Nintendo and ditched their regular E3 press conference to throw their own event focusing only on EA titles. EA Play 2016 was well-received for giving fans the chance to play upcoming titles outside the cramped, crowded corridors of the Los Angeles Convention Center. It looks like the event proved popular enough to do it yet again this year.
EA has announced that EA Play 2017 is a go and will once again but a number of anticipated titles in the hands of gamers. Among them are EA’s big three upcoming sports titles: FIFA 18, Madden NFL 18, and NBA Live 18. While being able to play the newest Need for Speed is sure to excite fans of the franchise, the line to play Star Wars Battlefront II will probably be the longest.
There’s still a chance that EA will reveal more playable titles. EA Play 2017 takes place from June 10 to the 12th at the Hollywood Palladium, just a 10 minute drive from where E3 takes place. Tickets for the event go live April 20th.
